What a season we have witnessed in the Premier League. Above all is the number of managerial comings and goings. Most interestingly is the appointments of untried and tested Managers/ Coaches at Swansea/Spurs/Norwich and now Man United! Is it possible for someone within these clubs to become successful overnight? rather than cutting their teeth at a lower level with the necessary coaching qualifications along the way. It remains to be seen, but it troubles me sometimes to think that players hold the power to throw their toys out of the playpen when it doesn't suit them or their mates at the club. Comments please?
I don't think Giggs is that much of a risk. What's the worst he can do? Lose all 4 games and finish out of Europe? I think United have written this season off already. Bit weird kicking Moyes out before the summer- but they already don't have anything to play for- and sounds like no plans to keep Giggs as manager after the 4 games. Personally, sounds like they figured they'd lost all hope anyway- might as well appoint Giggs to keep fan interest up until they find a permenant manager.
