Complete an shambles, Luis Suarez has been the best player for the last eighteen months and clearly should have won player of the year, never mind been in this team!

The team of the year is a joke every year. Last season there was not 1 player outside of La Liga in it, despite neither of Real or Barca making the CL final this year. And again this year both Spanish sides were out gunned in the Semi finals, this time by 2 German sides, yet there are only 3 Bundesliga players, compared with 6 la Liga players.

I don't know how these players are chosen, but for me the only 2 La Liga players who deserve a spot are Messi and Ronaldo
