Just read this from the Sunday Express, as the title says I do think Bruce will be gone before November. He has done nothing really in the past year and although the two strikers wanting to leave the club had nothing to do with him, I believe that MON has an all round better man mangerment skills. Short will want to bring someone in let them assess the squad in time for the January window opens.
Taken from the Sunday Express:
STEVE BRUCE is set to be the first Premier League manager to be sacked this season.
His job seemed secure while Niall Quinn was Sunderland chairman. But now Quinn has been replaced at the Stadium of Light by US owner Ellis Short, the writing is on the wall for Bruce. Martin OâNeill is already believed to have been approached to take over at the struggling club
