The penny has dropped?... http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/qpr/news/redknapp-admits-qpr-goalscoring-problem_127257.html
I think the fact he is admitting that now can only be a good thing. We should also remember that our club has become much better at PR than they used to be. What would be the point of admitting that in October when you can't fix it for three months or more? Admitting it now shows that they know what the problem is and are able to fix it rapidly ie hopefully on 1.1.14 but sadly not in time to drop into Wednesday's game.
Does it make you feel special imagining you knew something the manager didn't? They've been saying this for months.
Well, its a very difficult league, very competitive, there are some top, top teams in it, we're not as good as people think we are, we've no right to be promoted, it's ver difficult. Plus we can't score goals.
November 30th: http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/301113-harry-midfielders-must-step-up-1207410.aspx “We are short of goals,” Harry added. “We need more people to score goals, there’s no doubt about that. I stuck two up front at 1-1 but I still didn’t feel we created enough chances for all the possession we had in the game. “It’s a very difficult situation. We need midfield players to start scoring goals, we need wingers that are going to start scoring goals. At the moment, if Charlie Austin doesn’t score, we don’t score.” " Bond had been mentioning it for a few weeks prior to then, as well.
19th out of 24 in goalscoring is terrible. It just shows we are a mid table team in a false position from which we are now dropping back to where we should be.
Its good but severely distorted by a once in a lifetime clean sheet run. The only hope of getting promoted is to never concede for the rest to the season and then our goal every other game will be good enough.
