Jamie Carragher explains why, from a neutral perpective, Spurs are still a few seasons behind Arsenal. And foreign stars would rather go to the Emirates http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...nal-ahead-Tottenham-says-Jamie-Carragher.html
How about if Spurs had two decades of sustained success, like us. Would there be a power shift then? @Hoddle Is A God
How can there be talk of a powers shift when Spurs have won 4 games at Chelsea Arsenal United Liverpool since 1998 4 wins in 86 games. Sunderland have a better record. https://talksport.com/football/four...nchester-united-liverpool-arsenal-and-chelsea @PISKIE
It would still put them some way behind Arsenal in terms of trophy haul. It would depend what Arsenal also win in that period. I don't see it ever happening to be honest. Spurs do not have the appeal that Arsenal have, in Europe. It took us 10 years, multiple titles and a CL win to build up that sort of rep. I don't see Spurs doing that in my lifetime, not while they pay their players peanuts any way.
It’s called small man syndrome. The smaller, weaker and inferior beta male tries to convince himself that he’s bigger, better and stronger than his peer. He tries in vain to compare himself to his superior, with a deep seated psychological knowledge that he will never measure up. Yet he still persues the narrative that he’s a big shot, whilst denying the obvious fact that he’s packing a tiny pecker. *to be read in the style of David Attenborough
