I really dont see the need to sign anyone in this wondow. Business wise and football wise, it does'nt make sense.

Business wise, any player we do sign will be massively over priced, no club wants to lose their best players halfway through a season, so any player we do sign, he will come at a premium.

Football wise, unless we have our eyes on winning a cup (which is very unlikely) our points tally isnt good enough at this point in the season to challenge the top 7.

The only player's i would consider signing is, ones for the future, bosman or an unsettled good player at a cheap price, i.e sessegnon last january.

Any big signings should wait untill the summer, thats where MON can assemble a squad of his own players, and players will have time to settle in during pre season ect. I think we have a squad more than capable of staying up, and there is no need to sign anyone at this time.

People say we need a striker, i dont think we do. We have bendtner, sess, wickham and a returning campbell. I definatly think we need a striker in the summer, and he will have to be a goalscorer..... we have no prolific goalscorer at the club at the moment. But like i said, any half decent player will cost us a fortune at the moment, so its better to wait untill the summer to get someone who's, 1. better value for money, 2. has settled into our club over the summer, 3. playing for the targets MON will set next year.

I think we should continue with the current squad which is more than capable of a mid table finish, and be looking now for players in the summer.

I understand some fans are like children around christmas time when it comes to the transfer windows, but i think we should look past that and plough on through this season with a big window ahead of us this summer.

BUT, dont get me wrong here, i certainly wouldnt be disapointed if MON does add, i would be as excited as any other sunderland fan, i just wouldnt be bothered at all if nobody comes in.

    Out Cest and In cest?...
Although I agree with much of what this new Cest is saying, I can't help get the feeling that there is a bit of mischief going on here.

We know what happened last time don't we?

More or less the same as what I said to a mate at work today Cest. It would have been a different story had Steve Bruce still been in charge, but with MON in charge I'm confident and feel secure in the knowledge that MON can steer us to a mid table finish to the season.

I have more than a sneaking suspicion that 'cest' is none other than the infamous Big Chris.

    1. General bigotry with his 'this is the way it is' commentary
    2. Poor English and worse grammar
    3. He is instantly prolific
    4. I'm actually surprised he's stayed away for so long (the racist little gobshite probably got booted off yet another forum)

So what do your sauces tell us cest?
