Aaaaaarggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! What do I see that Redknapp doesn't? Do I overrate him? Currently on Bloemfontein Road smashing my head against a wall.
Hill starting on the left of three centre backs makes some sense. But watching them warm up it looks like a flat back four.
I don't think Clint is in front of Ned, it's Caulker or Rio. Ned isn't good left side. If it's a back 3 I'd have Ned on the right, Caulker central and Clint left, or Rio for one of Caulker or Clint. Ideally 'd like to have seen Traore tried left side of a back 3, but looks like he is off.
Well, at least we'll be able to see Clint grimacing about 10 foot away from the ball as it sails in past his head... No Ned... I suppose Harry must be looking for slow experience rather than powerful, fast experience?
Fair play to Redknapp, he got it right today by hook or crook. Everything good from Sunderland seemed to come down their left and Hill wasn't too exposed IMO particularly helped by their right-back who looked like an extremely average player for this league. Still an Onuoha fan.
Or what does Redknapp see that we don't? At least he see the players on a day to day basis. I'm a big fan of Onuoha myself and would prefer for him to play regularly. But maybe it's me/us who's wrong and not the manager?
