Reads like a 12 year old got a dictionary for Christmas....I find this sort of thing just plain funny. Love how much it winds him up, which only serves to wind himself up further. It's borderline flattery.
goodness me - what a find! i didn't bother reading all the comments - i can imagine what they were like. imagine writing an article that long (must be 2000 words easily) just to say you don't care about something. strikes me they care enormously...
They might like us a bit better shortly as I understand that they have had a bid accepted for one of our players although they are struggling on personal terms.
Wish I knew, Munky, so that I could tell you. I had a quick telephone chat with one of my contacts at the Club who just told me what I told you. Like most reliable contacts he won't give details until the deal is done. I did probe but no avail but if I had to make an imformed guess I would say it was Barnett - but don't hold me to that. He also told me that the other deal for the Spaniard was being held up slightly by the need for a specialised medical and a slight problem over living accomodation for the first 9 months. Apparently it is a permanent deal but the first season is being treated as a loan so that City can get out of the deal at the end of the first season if, due to injury, he has not been available for a certain percentage of our games.
There can't be many dry windows around that guy. I can understand why losing your best players to a smaller provincial club would grate but surely no need to get your underwear in such tight knots about it. I think that he represents a section of the Leeds fanbase who love to be loathed as it shows that people care about your club - sadly for them most of the big clubs don't care so much as they don't play Leeds any more - who really cares about Sheffield Wednesday now (other than Sheff Utd)? or Huddersfield or Blackpool or Burnley. They've all had their day in the sun back in the Black and White era but lately they just mill around the lower leagues.
Then there was the guy who wrote the open letter to Snodgrass pleading with him to stay, remember him ?
