Can't find any information re the extent of injury to Norris.

Nor any news re Samuel. I'm hoping that a 3rd loan period is being 'with held ' until the latest possible time for registration - to maximise the total 93 days we're allowed to loan him -- not sure where that would take him.

We have got Williamson back from his loan at Cambridge ( 3 goals in 8 games in L2 ). Of course I wish him bags full of goals - now I'm off to hold my breath.

Would have preferred Samuel to the end of the season as I feel Luke's ankle injury has / will rebound on him and the rest of the strikers are...well...being shown the way by a midfielder. Need I say more?

Unfortunately we could only loan Samuel for a maximum of 93 days ( if we weren't going to buy him ) - and he's already been with us 2 months - so end of January is our lot !

The future without Dack, Norris and Cody injured and Samuel returning to Reading does not fill me with anticipation..... :-(

Kentonline states that Norris may feature at Wigan - so injury not as bad as it looked.
They also say that Samuel's loan may be extended beyond the end of January - I must admit I thought the 93 day rule applied to him - but I haven't got an anorak big enough to know the definitive answer in this instance.

I suppose Samuel's been giving 'insider information' !
I wonder what complicated sale / loan back to the end of season / sell on clause type deal is being thrashed out for Dack ?

Hopefully whatever deal is made for Dack, it will see him loaned straight back to us until the end of the season. Ideally dare i use that term a 'big' club that will not require his services immediately but will be worth a multi-million pound deal and few clauses attached in our favour.

But I'd make this clear, I would not sell him to a Championship club, I'm looking to the Prem to supply the finances which will be too big to refuse. I've seen stupid offers like 300k off Bristol City previously rumoured and offers like that are just laughable, even at 4 times that amount. Personally I would not let him go to any club that we may have possibility of facing next season, if we are serious about our own goals (no pun intended).

Absolutely brb and neither are Reading or Brentford 'big' enough either, despite us having Samuel on loan.

Yes, I agree. I will be pretty annoyed if he goes to a Championship club, unless they are on the verge of Prem, not looked at that table.

Some Championship clubs are massive with big budgets, they could easily spend 1 or 2 million

Absolutely agree, but if we are serious about getting in to the Championship, then we should not be selling our best player to next season's competition. I would prefer to keep Dack but i also understand that some Prem clubs may have made an offer we cannot refuse. But in regards to Championship does Scally want an immediate 1 - 2 mill or does he want the bigger pot of gold.

Gio......one or two million is small beer nowadays........especially for a home grown non overseas talent with a pretty good future.
For that sum we would have to find a replacement.......and they don't come cheap and it would be only a short term gain.
    Penny wise pound foolish.
