News regarding possible transfer targets have become very scarce just now. And any i have come across are just rumour. Just hope that new recruits can help us get out of the relegation zone.

No news is simply no news, we need and Ole will provide, unless he is completely useless and can't see that we need.

Not worried about getting anyone in yet in time for these two Manc games - I doubt anyone we're capable of signing would have made a difference to the outcome. I think most of us have accepted that any return from both games would be a massive bonus.

As long as we don't miss the boat on good opportunities by waiting, the important thing is to get the right blend of players in the squad ready for a massive, MASSIVE February fixture list.

I'm not sure just when we have to announce the "select 25" for the second half of the season, but Solskjaer's choices will be very interesting especially with Maynard now gone on loan.

Time to revive this thread? Or at least keep it in mind?
Understand the Manc games theory Spark but from recent reports, potential targets are not working out for a variety of reasons. We are now twelve days away from the end of January with a £25m budget just apparently sitting there. If we don't strengthen soon others around us will beat us to the best available.

Agreed. We need someone in with more than 24 hours to blend in before the Norwich game - anything against Man U wont' necessarily depend on it.

Having said that and watching them today, I reckon we've got a decent chance at OT of coming back with a point.

Noticed Fulham have allegedly put in a reasonable bid for Burnley and England under 21s international Danny Ings who is on fire at the moment. Obviously unproven at this level but could be a real bargain striker for them if it works out.
