It showed after Bent went last January that is was costly that we never signed a new striker and I think it could be the case if Brucie doesn't go out and bring in someone who can get us a few goals. Gyan and Sess seem to be Brucie's first choice partnership with Sess just playing off Gyan but if Gyan gets an injury we are knackered. Ji and Wickham are potentially good players but I wouldn't like to see either coming in to fill the void by Gyan if he gets injured seems to much of a risk to me and we need to go and get someone either on a permanent deal or onloan. Left wing is the main priority with some french guy being the main target but we need another quality striker IMO.
When's Frazier fit? If January, altho not my 1st choice get DJ Campbell purely cos he's cheap. Been away for 2 weeks so if he's signed elsewhere excuse my ignorance. If FC fit before Xmas would take a chance
Who's this french guy then? don't think I've seen anything about him. Ill get slaughtered for suggesting this but id throw wickham straight in and I want us to sign a john carew type striker who's at the age where they won't expect to start every game but would be good competition for wickham and ji dw. These lads could learn a heck if a lot of big jc
i think a loan deal could be a good option here just to bulk up the numbers while Fraizer recovers and ji and connor settle, signing someone would create problems when those 3 are up to speed so a temporary stop gap would be my favoured option
