Agreed. The only obstruction to any sale is a willingness to get it done. Unfortunately, we seem to have moving goal posts.
We'll only be sold if there is a willingness to sell ! I have my doubts .. smoke and mirrors me thinks
Fun fact. I once worked with a recording engineer who'd worked with 2 Unlimited and he told me, and I quote, "I once saw Ray kick Anita in the ****". It's a lovely story.
More attractive, so why do we still have the Allams yet loads of other clubs have been bought and sold?
Fingers crossed what you're hearing is correct and they are genuine @Howdentiger2 It even seems slightly too early for the Allams to be spreading it just to encourage season ticket sales for next season?! (or maybe not depending how long it drags on for) But thats slightly sarcastic point aside there's some logic to us being buyable right now if the price was right. Like others I worry that Ehab wants to be able to still say to people that he runs a football club so might not want to let go. Hopefully his Dad's well and can clip him round the ear and send him to bed early while his elders* sort it out *not that Elder...although if he can score goals like he did on Saturday then maybe a City Sale and World Peace are well within his capabilities!
That’s easy mate. It’s like having a really attractive girlfriend or partner who also keeps buying you drinks,
"We are humbled and excited to be investing in Ipswich Town, one of the finest clubs in the history of English football," Johnson said. GTF silly ****
My Ipswich supporting mate claims they were bought for £40m. Surely not far off what the Allam's want for us?
https://www.itfc.co.uk/news/2021/april/statement-from-marcus-evans “Marcus has invested considerable money, time and energy in Ipswich Town. His decision to waive much of the Club’s outstanding debt is one that deserves the gratitude of every single Ipswich Town fan." Why do I think such a statement will not be forthcoming when City are sold?
