If they have already cut their cloth and reduced wages etc they are already budgeting on the income without player sales (as they do not know that figure yet). Hence they are going to trouser that wedge when it comes through the door, why would they do otherwise.......Quite frankly I'm at the point of not caring what they do with the money as long as they **** off as soon as possible.
Don't think we will get over 15 mill combined...we would get more if fees were paid in installments but allams won't have that. Realistically I can see bowen going for 8 mill..1.5 mill for henrikson and turbo leaving for free or on loan to lighten the wage bill.
Rick @HullCityLive Heard some whispers (again) on the Takeover front. Don't get your hopes up (again) but just putting it out there. Believe it when I see it (again). #hcafc
I wondered when the “we can’t invest too much on new signings because there’s a new owner probably coming in” rumours would start.
It's the footballing equivalent of the speaking clock. Set your watches, the annual rumour has started!
I'm not sure they've anything to gain from a new owner rumour this time around, they've already said that they're going to spend **** all anyway.
I disagree They’ve said since it’s been for sale( ) that they won’t invest, but they still have people expecting they will Anyway it’s habit now. It was probably set in someone’s phone as an annual reminder!
Wish it was true, but cant see them selling till Maguire, and Bowen's future are sorted, too much at stake for them to **** off (20/25million)
Unless they manage to extract additional money on the basis of expected value of sell-ons and transfers of Bowen, Grosicki. I think I'm clutching though.
Actually, why would any buyer choose to attempt to negotiate as the season is about to start. It has to be made up.
