Let's not go OTT here, no matter what team we had at our disposal we would have probably played not as well due to the cup run we are having and the replay coming up. Sad fact but in football it is true. Agree though we played tonight as though Bruce was back in charge, it had that feel about it!

I have a feeling we may be looking at a similar situation against QPR but when next Tuesday comes I believe you will see us back at our best.

To look at the positives from tonight though, Bendtner had a good game, Bridge done very well IMO, McClean looked dangerous again after going quiet for a few games and of course our Mr Consistent, Bardo had another solid game.

Miggs kicking was bad, I wonder if they are telling him to hit the wings and he is just over kicking it. Having said that his save just before their goal was fantastic.

been saying for a while now that Migs distribution is utter w*nk.

Needs a weeks training just aiming for a specific spot (preferably on the pitch) then learn how to pass to a Sunderland player the following game.

He's not quite Tim Krul but I've noticed a huge improvement in Mignolet this season, was cracking against Everton in the cup. Whatever happened to Gordon btw?

Think Krul came in at £750, 000 and Mig at £ 1,000,000. not realy sure , but IMO great bargains, but recon Krul will be a target for other clubs, and when Gorden makes a comeback, which he may not, may just usurp Mig. all in all as I said. bargains,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so what happened to English goalkeepers?,,,,, by the way you got the better deal by far.

    <ok>

Exactly like somebody said think of the times when we were 15 or 19pts, even this season under Bruce, think back to the wigan game at the sol. A performance like that 1 week before an FA cup quarter final and a possible trip to wembley is not a great concern to me and not enough to be shouting roll on transfer windows. Yes we were ****e but you should expect to have performances like that a few times a season, every team has them games. Move on we are in the best position we have been in for years, no need to panic.

Brilliant save by Ming from Formica, the rest of his game was pure unadulterated ****e.
That punch out for their first was just embarrassing.
(Did any of his kicks actually reach a Sunderland player? I can't recall one. The ones that went straight to touch don't count. :p )

Vaughan wasn't closing down in midfield, which left Gardner chasing his players down.

Campbell can't fault the lads effort, but dear God what happened to his passing tonight.
Couldn't make a pass a couple of yards from him!

Turner is not a Prem defender, it showed tonight just how bad he actually is.
Also when he came here everyone was saying what a good header of the ball he was?????
Threepenny bit head comes to mind, under no pressure and heads the ball out of play or to Blackburn.
His positional sense is dire and him diving in trying to nick the ball and failing, left us wide open every time.
The Greek showed him how to head the ball away from goal.

When the rest of the lads are having a bad one, just makes poor players stand out more.
Same as when nearly everyone is having a good game it hides how bad some are.

Without Bardsley's grit this could have been a lot worse.

    Just so I understand.
If we see things that aren't right, or aren't working we don't mention it?

What a **** football forum this will be then.
No arguments, everyone agreeing and patting each other on the back!

It's only 1 game, beat QPR and everybody is happy again. I personally think you's are just over-reacting, but that's just my opinion :emoticon-0150-hands

You're having a go at players who in the past 3 months have been magnificent. I'm not saying everyone deserves a pat on the back but ffs, it's one game. Some of you's are like them up the road.

The thing is mate I'm still happy, just voicing an opinion on the match.
No over reaction from me, as it's the same players I believe are letting the team down.
I don't rate Turner or Ming.
And the sooner Bendtner is away the better I will like it.
