A £10 million 'package'. I'm guessing that includes wages as well so 25k a week on lets say a four year deal is £5.2 million plus the £4 million transfer fee is £9.2 million and then thrown in a potential 800k worth of bonuses (promotion, number of clean sheets etc.) comes to a package worth about £10 million. I'm sure the Mail are using the £10 million as a way to attract attention. If we payed £10 million in transfer fee's then I think that is a bit too steep - it's all well and good spending money but we don't want reckless spending. We all know the aftermath of Taylor's era when this happened. We should be spending money sensibly because we can't throw everything at promotion just in case it doesn't happen.

Definitly agree, SGE needs a good start with money it looks like we will spend, but pretty confident we will be top two if we get who has been stated.
Money certainly gives a feel good factor before we have kicked a ball in anger. Was playing poker at the casino at the ricoh the other night. The lad next to me asked me if i was a cov fan, and after i stopped laughing, explained that i was a Leicester season ticket holder. His head slumped and he muttered 'You've got money'. Almost felt sorry for him. Almost.
