Always Believe, Always Belieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve, We're Bristol City, We Always Believe!

Keep the faith everyone, our win is right around the corner, I promise you! With only 2 shots on target in 180 minutes of football we are gradually edging closer to dominating this league.

Despite the team we "contained" on the weekend losing 3 goals in 10 minutes to STEVENAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was still a good example of where we are going as a team.

SoD is a footballing genius, stick with him.

    Genius?
    I think not!
That is the worst I've seen since 1982-83 season.

Someone mentioned on here the other day Paul Scholes, I would say someone like that would not be a bad shout now. Someone who could run to Fergie for advice now he has time on his hands he could be used as help to someone he knows and likes like Scholes.
It won't happen though, plus the Tramadol are kicking in now so I will go to sleep and stop talking ****e <laugh>

I think we are an incredibly hard to sell to any manager now. It seems to be the place managers, no one with a half decent reputation is going to want to muddy their (maybe) already murky career with going to a club where manager after manager is failing. It must be something in the water down in BS3.

Bristol is the graveyard of football managers and indeed football in general.

Would seem that way BlueBaldee, when you look at the likes of Manchester, the North East clubs of Newcastle and Sunderland, Birmingham, Aston Villa, West Brom, countless London clubs. You do wonder what it is about the south west that is such a struggle to develop a club with even marginal success.

There is something fundemenatally wrong with Bristol football aside from the fact that it has 2 utterly hopeless teams.

Nowhere else in the known universe can there be a city of comparable size as Bristol with football 2 clubs, both really struggling, and one with a billionaire owner, who fail to achieve anything so comprehensively.

And the worse part is that it's getting harder and harder to even give a **** at the moment.

I was there and lived through the very bad times City had in the early 80's in the name of trying to retain top flight football but this is somehow even worse given we've not been there ever since !
