it was mentioned in another thread, usually means a transfer is imminent although I prefer the NHL way where sometimes players are yanked off mid game and told they are traded.

 

As Rodney Marsh said well we only usually get oranges at half time

 

this isn't even during a break, they get pulled off (here I go again) during play and its obvious they've been traded mid game.

We are the club that splurged 8mill on Remy and 12mill on Samba at this stage last season... Would 6/7mill on Rhodes be such a surprise?

 

Can be get our money back though at season end, like with Samba, if things don't quite work out?

Rhodes is 23, his value should go up. samba was 29 and we got out of jail getting our money back at that age. especially considering how bad he was for us.

 

I confess I'm not familiar with Mr Rhodes, is he any good?
