Well, as Harold himself says, CEOs and Chairman tend to do the deals now, so he wouldn't hear if there were any enquiries anyway. This is probably because CEOs and Chairmen got sick of aging British managers demand bungs, bonuses and tips for every player sale and purchase they made, along with demands that these 'extras' were untraceable tax free gifts.

But Harold wouldn't know anything about that kind of thing.

Have Reading or Wigan? If no one has come for,say Di Santo, why do we think they might come for SWP? Season not even over yet. I'm more interested to see what happens with Remy now that he has had his copy book blotted ( innocent until guilty).

Well spotted Matt! He's staying and its certainly not in my interest for him to fail next season as well as this, but every new public utterance makes me cringe. Hopefully I will be eating my words this time next year......

It's probably because other teams still realise that this season isn't over. Every place in the table is worth £775,000. Our shameful performances over the last few weeks have cost us pride in falling below Reading and cash as well.
