The Premier League has cancelled the customary pre-match handshakes because of the legal case involving Chelsea captain Terry and Ferdinand - according to the media.

A very good thing too! Think of what would happen if either withdrew their hand!!
That would not be beyond Terry, of course. His latest misdemeanour is typical of the man. Very soon after being sent off against Barca for deliberately kneeing Sanchez without the ball being near, he was reported to have said the he held his knee up because Sanchez was backing into him.!<doh> That was clearly a lie from the TV footage and showed that not only is Terry a cheat, he is also a liar - but that is not news to Ferdinand and Parker.

No doubt Chelsea hardliners will shout abuse at Ferdinand on Sunday, but I hope that there will be enough QPR fans at the stadium to show support for the true victim.

Good luck QPR - but I fear 3 points will be a Bridge too far.
