The club has just issues an announcement saying that they have sold out of capital one cup final tickets and therevwill be no phase 3 sale. How the **** does that work? We do not have 31500 season ticket holders so where have the remainder of the tickets gone? How can the club say every season ticket holder is guaranteed a ticket then be sold out after the season ticket holders have had tgere chance. Their is a massive conflict in the statements coming from the club and even if they sold 4 to all working staff it would be a bloody coincidence that it added up tp the exact amount we were allocated. Once again safc pr has shot itself in the foot and im sure many thousands of fans myself included will be devastated that they don't even have a chance of getting a ticket. Im so pissed off right now I could cry. Probably the only time in my life I will have the chance to go to Wembley for a cup final and I haven't a chance of getting a ticket unless I trust a ticket tout site and part with £500. Ive no doubt back handers and bribes have been taken and the relations of the club to many fans is ****ed. Thanks safc you set of ****s!
Wembley tickets sold out Published: 15 February, 2014 by Sunderland AFC Ticketing update regarding Capital One Cup final. Following the completion of the phase one and phase two application procedures, Sunderland AFC can confirm that the club has sold out its allocation of tickets for the Capital One Cup final. Tickets have been on priority sale to season card holders and seasonal hospitality members for over the last two weeks and the club has seen unprecedented demand. Sunderland AFC's chief executive, Margaret Byrne, said: “The interest in this game and the subsequent demand for tickets has been absolutely phenomenal, so much so, we could have filled Wembley many times over. “When demand far exceeds supply it is inevitable that some people will be disappointed. We would love to be able to take all of our supporters to Wembley with us but sadly it is simply not possible with the ticket allocation we have been given. “We carefully considered every option available to us and believe that we have allocated tickets in the fairest way possible. “It goes without saying that every single supporter is important to us, however, recognising and thanking our season card holders, seasonal hospitality members and key partners, who have been the backbone of our support through good and bad times, was our priority." The club can also confirm that it will not be receiving any additional tickets on top of the allocation that it has already been given. The final will be screened throughout the stadium’s suites and bars, giving fans who couldn’t make the trip to Wembley the chance to enjoy the game with their fellow supporters. The match will be shown in Quinn’s Sports Bar, the Montgomery Suite and in Executive Boxes and packages are available including food options and drinks promotions. Places are selling fast and supporters are advised to reserve their place as soon as possible by calling 0871 911 1555 or e-mail [email protected].
KTF with Smug mate ...... I have requests in all over the country. There are 3 lads on here I'm trying for and you're one of them.
They 've taken the page straight down http://www.safc.com/sitecore/Conten...sold-out&user=extranet\Anonymous&site=website
So the only way for me and my lad to get there now is too pay vastly over-inflated prices. Which in all fairness I'll probably do,but the annoying thing is that I know 2 people who'll now be at the final, without seeing a single game in the cup run so far !! I don't know the identity of these people, but know they have'nt been to a game cos we've sat in their seats for every round !!
Hahaha yeah it is starting to look possible draw the winners of Cardiff/Wigan or Sheff Wed/Notts Forest and we can start planning for a semi final at wembley.
Its anyones really. You dont even need the luck of a favourable draw given the top teams playing each other this round.
You're dead right mate. I might be a disagreeable bastard, at times, but I love my club and have always done my utmost for other supporters. I've been helped at times and I believe that's what makes us a decent club & supporters. I've sorted 4 tickets for me and my 3 sons, at a price you wouldn't want to know, but I'm still battling for more all over the country. Everything I've ever done work for has had a text or e-mail, even those I dislike. If I can get another half a dozen Sunderland people, in the stadium, I'll feel really proud of mesel
Not this time but I'll tell a quick funny story while I'm on. Two of my sons wanted to come down for the World Cup in France which. of course, was great for me. I tried everywhere for tickets and failed but I lied and told them I had some for the Tunisia match at Marseille. They booked flights and 2 days before they were due I spotted an advert from a bloke in Nice advertising 4 tickets at 500 euros a pop. There was no way I way paying that but I arranged a rdv anyway. I went to his office, which was an estate agent, and sat down at his desk. When he showed me the tickets I picked them up, popped them in my suit jacket pocket and bid him a good day. I was expecting a punch up but he just watched me walk out with his mouth open ......... couldn't believe me luck mate
Little bit baffling to me this, I reckon season tickets are probably around 20k, but let's go for the lowest league attendance figure, around 28k (no way have we that many season card holders...). Does this mean the club has given 3,500 minimum tickets to corporate sponsors and partners, cos if it does, they should hang their heads in shame. There is no logical explanation for the lack of any general sale tickets, and I genuinely feel for lads who never even got a shot, I know there are many fans who can't justify a season card due to family, work etc, who go to every game they can, and haven't had the chance. The club really needs to explain where the tickets have gone, at the very least they should publicise the amount of season card holders we have, quite unusual that this information is not readily available.
I'm an ex-UK doorman from Consett and he was a poncy French office dweller with a man bag. So, a little from column A and a little from column B
This stinks to high heaven no way in this world has all our allocation gone to season card holders. Questions need to be answered. The only other thing i can think of is that the club are bluffing to prevent people queuing all weekend then a statement will be made monday saying we have had x amount of extra tickets sent and they will go on sale tuesday. Clutching i know.
Nah, although it's been so long since I had any hair I might be now We actually sold the spare ticket, to a tout, for 300 euros so we had a free weekend over there. ****ing rough though tbh, loads of Arabs with knives hanging around the Old Port looking to pick off any Brit stragglers.
I always thought Marseilles had a very strong north African influence anyway, nevermind when they;re in town for the WC. You'll obviously know better living dans le sud de France.
