You realise that winning the Europa was the best chance of getting you a CL spot? You won't break back into the top 4 next season, not a chance

There's a bigger positive. No Moyes means the focus of our results and poor performances lays squarely at the players. The likes of Carrick, Young and Evra (and hopefully Valencia) are hammering the nails into their own coffins.

I really do have some sympathy for Moyes. At their best, some of these players just weren't good enough. At their worst they wouldn't play for him. Had he be given the summer to buy quality signings then he might have been more successful.

Almost certainly won't apply to us.

Last UEFA ranking table had Sweden, Norway and Finland in the top three spots with England 5th. And even if England get a top three spot, we're nowhere near being the highest ranked non qualifying team in the PL fair play table.

I never understand why that would be a positive. Surely you want to watch your team playing as many games as possible?

It will be hard i agree, Everton and Spurs will be pushing all the way. Who do you think will be the team to drop out though?
