Fulham Chronicle article from insider....Jol rules out moves DJ Campbell and Robbie Keane he wants youth. I much prefer that.
Younger players order of the day (year). We have a truely aging squad. That is Jol's task. You can list the over 30's no problem.
http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...-blackpool-and-spurs-strikers-82029-28894576/ Just read the story (link above), I think we will be just fine under Jol if this is what he is doing
Haven't read the Chronicle since their support, NOT, during the Clay and Cobra days. At the time tarred with the same brush as Dusty Dein of the Arsenal - open to the highest bidder. It's no thanks to either that we're still at the Cottage. Whatever, if it's true that Big Maarty is going young, great. Trouble is neither of the players specifically mentioned (D J Campbell and Keane) play in positions that are a priority, so was the 'friend' just rejecting those two or stating policy/strategy ?
It's what many of us have been saying for months - we need to rejuvinate the team. This is good news if true.
I think its good that MJ has moved quickly (or fairly quickly) to put an end to the endless links to unlikely players as well as the good news re "yoof". Maybe he's been reading this board!
Just in case he is, Penguin, Hey Martin - Danny Ings and Rhoys Wiggins from Bournemouth. They can share a taxi and they'll be great investments for the future. There, that should do it.
Ah, go on then Cottager58, if you insist. Although I suspect that two young left backs might be a little greedy. What the hell - we're worth it.
Cheers Captain, would be happy with either. Indeed just a whiff of interest from the club would ease my concern.
Just saw Denba Ba is off to Newcastle, this in my opinion was a signing we could have done with, looking around at the middle of the table clubs, they all seem to be associated with players in a transfer price bracket we could live with, not the Cambells, Keanes, and such like.
