I said in January if we didn't get a decent striker we would struggle to get in the play offs. If I could see that and probably most of you could, why couldn't Harry?

Don't tell me it is hard to get a striker we waited the whole transfer window to the last day as usual and brought in four strikers we knew would struggle.

We overloaded on the mediocre. Maybe a bit harsh on Doyle but we knew he wasn't going to score many goals. It was a big failure by the club.

They don't exactly grow on trees though do they? And the ones who are out there usually aren't available or aren't going to play in the Championship.

And yet Tony said the board had done all that was asked of them. Hard to work out what is going on sadly.

When I suggested we were fannying about in Jan I was told it was good that we were not being held to ransom on wages / transfer fees for the like of Belfodil, Ntep etc etc so whilst our rivals did their business early we loaned out Hitchcock again and brought in last minute no hopers

    Harry got it wrong twice.

First he pinned his hopes on Zamora and Johnson (for that alone he should walk) and then in Jan he bought in 2nd rate dross

Its not rocket science that BZ & AJ was a cluster**** waiting to happen (again)

Maiga is Agyemang bad. He is utterly terrible and its unbelievable he cost £5m.

We could have had Rhodes instead of Johnson and Zamora for the same money.

Just let that sink in, thats how badly mismanaged weve been.

Even when Austin was fit I thought he needed help as we were struggling to score goals. Once he got injured we needed two decent strikers but we didn't even get one. You are really telling me we couldn't have got something better than the strikers we brought in throughout the whole of world football with the wages we pay.

Based on what I've seen, Gregory should stick to the movies.

totally agree...with the money we are paying some of the s**te to play ATM i'm certain we could have got 1 or 2 decent strikers to do the job until the seasons end.....How the F it Defoe end up in Toronto....Surely Harry could have got him for starters..?

How much time have these guys had to work together?

The scattergun approach is a much to blame as the quality. but the lack of fitness just confuses me.

Didn't we get that Brazilian lad in as a striker on loan til the end of the season? You know, the injured one? What was the point of that exercise?

Doyle, Johnson, Keane, Zamora and Maiga........sounds like a weird Irish/Persian estate agency, rather than a relentless goal machine........might as well give Dellatorre a go, can't be any worse.

Quantity not quality in January, unfortunately, which merely added to our stock of strikers who have a far from prolific scoring record.

We started the season with lack of strikers. Whether Zamora was going to be injured or not he wasn't the answer. Add sicknote Johnson to that and we were left with Austin.

Philips being our second highest scorer with 4 goals speaks volumes.

So Austin gets injured and our 2-1 wins and 1-0 wins turn into losses and draws. Johnson said in January he wanted to prove himself and guess what, he is sick again. You can't win games with no decent strikers.

Bet Austin wishes he stayed at Burnley because it looks like their be in the premiership next year.

Keane was woeful tonight. No threat, no presence, no pace. He looked like a youth team player out of his depth.

Im a little bit embarrassed to be a QPR fan right now. Not because of where we are in the table, I think deep down we would have all taken this at the start of the season, but more the complete shambles of a squad we have, the laughing stock we are behind the scenes, I watched the Blackburn v Burnley game this weekend and saw a passion and commitment from every player ive not seen with QPR for a long time, and this is venkeys Blackburn, the fans threw a chicken onto the pitch for god's sake...! its a shambles inside and out, i honestly dont think we deserve to be in the playoffs, we're there because our cash had bought cheap points with mercenary talent. The whole club needs to look at itself. Reactionary rant, yes, drunk, a bit... but i just dont love this QPR right now (apart from Austin, who I sort of worship)

Before the season started it was clear that we needed at least 2 more strikers, especially with Johnson & Zamora. We only got Austin, and have paid the price. And to loan out Hitchcock was baffling. We'll never know if he's good enough if he doesn't get a try.

Think everyone is just saying and agreeing with what we already knew TBH <ok>

Be plenty saying i told you so this & that.

I like Harry, but m afraid something has to change. he needs to either change his formation, tactics, style, personell or what ever, because what he is doing right now clearly isnt working.

He'll have a mutiny on his hands if we lose the next 1 or 2..
