Notts County manager John Sheridan has cancelled his players' Christmas party after a five-match winless run in League Two. WHERE IS THE SENSE IN THAT? at this time of the year peeps are sensitive to the lack of Christmas spirit . I worked for a company that had a new manager in, just 4 months before Christmas ... he cancelled the Christmas party on the Friday night because he didn't know how peeps reacted to getting pis**d because he needed a full crew in for the Saturday because it was Christmas eve and stuff needed doing ... guess what the Christmas party was held at a different venue .. usually a good meal and OK a few drinks but in the previous few years probably only 1 or 2 didn't make it 1 or 2 were an hour late but everything got sorted.... on this occasion 31 people phoned in sick, all with the same excuse sickness and diah**** caused " it was said by a takeaway meal brought into work to replace the Christmas party .......
