no bottom 5 playing each other and the bottom 5 are now detached, probably 3 straight wins needed to join the next group and 4 to join the middle of the pack. DM cant do better than KM with regard to wins from 56 games in charge but could possibbly beat last seasons 23 games played total of points which is FAR FAR FAR more important. Listening to the game we didnt seem to do to bad but but we are now now becoming like the past few seasons a bit goal shy and SUCKERS FOR THE SIMPLISTIC PUNCHES, set peices and last 10 mins including added time. SUDDENLY Wolves will wake up and smell the coffee, in the bottom 8 and tipped for the top8 before season started, teams 3-6 above us will most likely not be relegation candidates with 6 games to go (birm, wolves ,bpool, bolton etc) Of the current bottom 5 Ipswich are the most likely to leave 4 behind, that leaves us and 3 others to fight it out. W 1 D 1 L 1 = 4 PTS FROM 9. is not good enough, we have to assume we will lose another 13 -14 games about half of our remaining fixtures. lose 13 win 7 draw 7 = 28 pts I cannot see us getting more than 11 victories this season thats 33 points with 47 the likely safety point that means 14 games drawn and I cant see that happening ! Ipswich are up and down. Beaten 6-0 last week, then a 1-1 home draw with Peterborough then they go and beat Forest. As we've already seen, every team in this league is capable of beating any of the others which is why we need to get some more points on the board quickly as there is a little gap opening up to the likes of Birmingham and Wolves and those below them. It's a cliche I know, but we really do need a win on Saturday
It is really nice to know you are able to think.............but for the record the only sniffing I do is the coffee, and yes it is a cliche this seasons Championship is one of the most hickelety picketely in the past 5 years who would have thought Palace Millwall Watford being at the top Wolves Bolton BCFC and Bpool being at the bottom!
