So apparently, I didn't notice myself but it's all over twitter that Torres wasn't wearing an armband today when he came on.

And we used to sing his armband proved he was a red....

He's not a Red and we've known that for over a year now.

He soaks up the culture of who's paying him.

In the second half, only Petr Cech and Juan Mata wore their armbands.
Apart from Adebayor and BAE, all the Spurs lads had theirs on.

Only 3 Chelsea players wore one, I don't think there is anything to be read into this, they all observed the silence. Torres maybe should have had more thought but I'm not going on a witch hunt here. Lets just beat them in the final.

Not sure if we're looking into this a bit too much chaps.

Apparently they had problems with the armbands, they kept falling off some players.

Quick question: why did everybody boo after the silence? The commentators on ITV noticed it, but didn't elaborate.

I think they booed the small minority that disturbed the minute of respect.

I thought they were cello taped onto shirts. An oversight for a great player

I was only watching it on TV obviously but was sure they booed at the end either because of the couple of shouts from elsewhere or in protest at what was the farce the FA made of arranging the fixtures/times. I like to think it wasn't meant as being disrespectful to us <ok>
