Weeks ago, Barton tweeted Jonas, Enrique and him were off..........

Well, as I posted last week , Ashley is no mug when it comes to selling cheaply. Barton clearly unimpressed at notbeing made a new offer ( I think he should be offered one because was our stand out player of last year and if only because the money now for him would go into the black holes known as " fees/wages/underground heating").
Enrique entirely different. The club know he is a £20m player. But no one will stump that up if he can leave next year. AP has said they have tried to negotiate with him but as ever , details are unforthcoming. So what will happen? He will play out his contract and hope a top4 club come in for him, without the penal transfer fee.
Jonas? Blows hot and cold and HBA proved he loves playing wide and up front as well as the other new french lads.

I'm a big believer ALL these players have their own agenda ( Barton-5 year deal/ Enrique- Champions League here or abroad/ Jonas- first team footie), so let's relax and if the worst case is another 12 months with them in full flow, then great.
Mr Carr has proved, no one is indispensible. Talent can be bought ay anytime.

Gutierrez and Enrique need to be kept as they provided a good amount of tranquilizing pace to the squad.

The effects are ambiguous and can often be devastating to the opposition.

Barton on the other is too slow and need to join Nolan in being off-loaded quickly

It means it could have many meanings therefore, varies.

Often quicker players, like the ones I mentioned, are also unpredictable like at Liverpool the most unpredictable player is Suarez and a lot of that is down to pace whereas Maxi is fairly predicable and can only really finish well.

I "no" that pace was caused Liverpool' season to turn around.

At least use something more sophisticated than just bold statements

You could not have used "ambiguous" more out of context than that...it means being open to several interpretation, typically unclear or inexact. It's definitely not a compliment, nor can it be applied to football. If you're going to be a wum, skip trying to sell intellectualism, it's inherantly impossible for someone who is wasting their time talking such **** for the simple sake of it

When Newcastle where good back inthe 90s the team had pace with players such as Ginola, Beardsley, Lee, Albert and others having speed in what was a slower league than today. Even Asprilla was fast despite him not being the best of footballers in the end. And Shearer, Cole and Ferdinand were not exactly slow and lazy.

Now players need to be faster to keep up with the modern flow yet Newastle have seemed to not keep up with this. Keegan and Dalglish were keen promoters of pace and that brought success. Unfortunately
Injuries and bad slower signings by Dalglish wrecked his 2nd season completely at Newcastle

Questioning my brain by using bold statements will not registair in my books

Don't worry, I'll stop "questioning your brain", and just neg rep you instead. Please stop, you have to ask yourself 'what's the point?'

The point is that the core of any team should include pace relevant to that league.

It is a key requirement of the modern league.

Neg rep me am not bothered. Nor am I bothered at comments like "I hope you die cancer" left in the neg rep comments
