Don't think there's anything nefarious about RVW's absence as we seem to have an unfilled spot in the squad so it was clearly intended that he would go. Just always seems to be him though.

That would seem to be the case, Cromer. There is some heavy suspicion about RvW's knock over on the Pink'un, but there was about Pilks and Tettey missing the Braintree game as well ('they're off then!'). Both Pilks and Tettey are in the squad for Italy, so I doubt the suspicions myself.

This would seem to indicate that Bunns tenure as #2 is over. Three goalies travel but not him. . Rather pleased that Rudd seems to have been elevated to #2 as he is one for the future.

Yeah, Remi Matthews going, and Bunn presumably not injured, would rather suggest his time at the club is over. Nice to see we're taking so many youth players. Last year I think only Josh Murphy and Adel Gafaiti went to the USA, Loza and Matthews are going for the first time I think, and don't think Rudd went last year either.

Saw RvW with Lafferty in the city centre the other day, at least if they're competing for a starting berth it's not stopping them trying to be friends.

The pinkun is a rumour and panic mill though, not worth the time to read mostly.

When i first saw he wasn't going i did question it but for me the fact that Adams said that there would be a 25 man squad going to Italy and we've left with 24, clearly it was intended that he go and he's had to pull out. Frankly since adams has been appointed our fan base has steadily been lowering itself in my estimations and this is just another embarrassing drop.

seriously?! you've got to feel for the lad. just as it looks as though he might regain a little confidence this happens. he has been extremely unlucky.

and guru, perhaps you are unaware but his toe injury last season was extremely serious and could have threatened his career. but then the truth doesn't suit your idiotic blathering about him.

This is getting a little carried away. RvW took a knock to his knee in training and there is some swelling involved, but he may be out for around two weeks. Nothing to panic about. Bath is right to point out that 24 are going rather than the 25 planned, so it's nothing to panic about but that doesn't stop some people.
