Hmmm - I wonder what would have happened had RvW kicked Toure in the same fashion???????????????? One rule for the top 5 or 6 teams and ...........................

Completely agree. Still...wonder if it would have been different had it have been the other way around?

Given Man city play three of our rivals next we should probably be pleased that he plays.

Probably slightly depressingly, this was exactly my thinking too. Man City winning every game for the rest of the season now would be pretty helpful for us, and if this helps them get closer to that, then that's a bonus.

It was a nothing kick/tap so I'm glad there is no further action. Having said that, it did remind me slightly of David Beckham's nothing heel flick in the World Cup vs. Argentina that led to a red card after an Oscar performance from the Argentinian player.

My concern was RvW's antics, not just the exaggeration but then the petulance once he was on his feet. I have to say; in the times I've seen him this season, I'm not impressed by the lad's footballing attributes nor temperament. Maybe the petulance is borne of frustration but I wish he'd just knuckle down and give, even if it is a glimpse, some indication of the skills that warranted his acquisition to such a great fanfare. I know even very good players take time to adjust to the EPL but I've seen nothing in terms of pace/physicality/skill/predatory instinct to give me even a glimmer of encouragement. Hooper on the other hand does give me hope!

Or perhaps Cardiff. Has anyone seen the Bellamy incident that the FA have charged him with violent conduct for?

Funnily enough, MOTD said Bellamy's was a nothing incident and Toure's was a red!

I also think that big-team players get away with this sort of thing where players from smaller teams don't. It stinks, and it says volumes about what the FA has become since the PL was formed.

So sad - but 100% true.
Did anyone hear Mourinho bleating about how not suspending Touré would ...erm, not be beneficial to everything good about the FA?
As long as it's beneficial to Chelsea, that's all right then, José!
