When we got rid of him and he started playing for Newcastle in the Championship and then Premiership, a lot of people weren't happy that we had let a seemingly bright prospect slip away. Looks like we were spot on though, he is still completely unprofessional and a bit of a tosser - http://twitter.com/#!/NilePowerRanger. Happily players like him are getting binned from the academy at an early age now.

I think the main reason for his release was that he got in a bit of legal trouble and ended up spending time in a juvenile delinquent centre or something, and wasn't worth dealing with someone with such baggage considering he wasn't even very good. He's always seemed like a grade A tosser though, so I'm happy we lost him.

A player like him wouldn't fit into the squad now, too much attitude - unfortunately there are too many players with Ranger's attitude - young, rich and stupid. As long as they stay away from Southampton FC, that's what matters most!

He's got the mental capacity of a small child, but i'm not seeing anything outrageous there tbh.
