Interesting tweet coming from our JET. When asked if Nile Ranger wanted to play for BCFC he responded "of course he does" Now I don't know if JET is just messing around or what but what would you think about the possibility of ranger coming to us? Been a bit of a trouble maker in the past but maybe now he can make a name for himself and put the past behind him?

Thought he might end up playing for a prison team or something like that.

Though he was going to be a good one but he never seemed to have the composure in front of goal...

The guy is due to appear in court to answer a rape charge on August 21st and has a rap sheet as long as his arm....

In 2007, at the age of 15, he was sentenced to 11 weeks in a young offenders institute after being convicted of participating in street robbery in Muswell Hill, London.

On 27 August 2011 he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a man in Newcastle city centre leaving the victim unconscious in the street, but was found not guilty of this in trial in October 2012.[15]

In October 2011 he was charged with being drunk and disorderly in Newcastle's Cathedral Square. The charge came only days after Ranger had been reinstated to Newcastle United's first-team training after a three-month exile in the club's reserves.[16] In March 2012 he was convicted of being drunk and disorderly and was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £135 costs.[17][better source needed] Prior to this, in May 2011 Ranger was questioned by Newcastle after posing with a replica gun in a photograph.[18][better source needed] The gun was later handed in.[19][better source needed]

In March 2012, he was fined by The FA for making homophobic comments on social networking website Twitter.[20] Later in the month he was arrested once more, this time for breaching terms of his bail whilst awaiting trial on four assault charges.[17]

In the early hours of 23 September 2012, police were called to a house in Enfield, north London after reports of a disturbance. The front door of the property was badly damaged and Ranger was arrested at the scene and later charged with criminal damage.[21] The charge against Ranger was dropped in November 2012 after the court accepted his explanation that he had damaged the door after fearing his girlfriend was being kidnapped.[22]

On 25 January 2013, Ranger was arrested on suspicion of rape in a Newcastle hotel room.[23] In connection with the same alleged offence, Ranger was charged with rape on 8 July 2013.[24]

On 14 March 2013, Ranger was arrested on suspicion of assault.[25

    I think not!

Good god no. What next, Lita back and that odd ball from West Ham than stole Rio Ferdinands watch?

After the total dicks we had when Wilson was manager, I really don't want to go back to those days.

Absolutely agree - surely there are other players out there (and I think he's on about his 4th chance)

Sorry Lita was and is far less trouble also I would say Lita is a better footballer plus seems to have learned from his mistakes. Ranger is just trouble looking for somewhere to happen.

Talent wise it would be a great signing but u cant ignore whats going on or his past. Doubt any club would consider a move for him until after his court case as no one would give him a contract if he could end up going to prison.

Just another talented footballer who wasted his life as he thinks hes gods gift
