Before anyone suggests it, please God let's not go anywhere near him.

In 2007, at the age of 15, he was sentenced to 11 weeks in a young offenders institute after being convicted of participating in street robbery in Muswell Hill, London.

On 27 August 2011 he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a man in Newcastle city centre leaving the victim unconscious in the street, but was found not guilty of this in trial in October 2012.

In October 2011 he was charged with being drunk and disorderly in Newcastle's Cathedral Square. The charge came only days after Ranger had been reinstated to Newcastle United's first-team training after a three-month exile in the club's reserves. In March 2012 he was convicted of being drunk and disorderly and was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £135 costs. Prior to this, in May 2011 Ranger was questioned by Newcastle after posing with a replica gun in a photograph. The gun was later handed in.

In March 2012, he was fined by The FA for making homophobic comments on social networking website Twitter.[20] Later in the month he was arrested once more, this time for breaching terms of his bail whilst awaiting trial on four assault charges.

In the early hours of 23 September 2012, police were called to a house in Enfield, north London after reports of a disturbance. The front door of the property was badly damaged and Ranger was arrested at the scene and later charged with criminal damage. The charge against Ranger was dropped in November 2012 after the court accepted his explanation that he had damaged the door after fearing his girlfriend was being kidknapped.

On 25 January 2013, Ranger was arrested on suspicion of rape in a Newcastle hotel room.

He's been released today by Newcastle and is therefore a free agent.

With his name perhaps plying his trade in Egypt would be appropriate

I see no connection with any of our current players. Ranger is a lad who clearly can't handle the limelight, status and money that football brings, and continues to make bad decisions and is not learning from his mistakes. Something missing up top.

Pray tell - what has Diouf done wrong in the last 5 years? What have he or Hall done wrong while LUFC players?

His brother Lone is a better player.

I've lost count of the number of times I've used that one.

    I'm here all week.

Personally, only interests me what players do while at Leeds. Some cop on with age. I think it's fair to say some footie players are not the sharpest tools in the box and need a lot of babysitting seemingly

I see where you're going mate but these players are role models to young kids. I'm going to be a father in September and I really don't want my child looking up to somebody who behaves like that. If they behave whilst be at Leeds good news for them but there some players I wouldn't want at the club.

Been through all of this when he joined us. He spat at someone in 2004. And he made a mistake by accusing someone who was hurt of playacting, and was called a sewer rat. That happens all the time in football by many many players.

That's the only thing that is proven. He has had nearly 9 years of nothing but abuse and rumour and accusations, none of which have been true - that proves to me the guy has turned a corner since being a new kid on the block in the UK.

I'll admit he's actually behaved since joining Leeds but how many players wanted him here when he was on trial? I know i was one of them who said no.

I'll also say this players can change like Diouf seems to have, maybe Warnock might be a good influence on Ranger and calm him down
