We are crying out for creativity and Kranjcar our most creative player isn't starting.

With the signing of Zarate is he less likely still to get a game?

Would others pick him and if so where, in what formation and who would make way?

I'd always like to see him on the teamsheet or at least the bench. But I suspect that he's injured at the moment as there's no explanation for him being absent from an insanely busy schedule recently. He would have at least been on the bench once, so I am assuming he's got an injury.

If Adel isn't fit, then Kranjcar would be a regular starter for me if he were fit. He was pretty good early season, but then I read he'd broken something in his foot, he was out a few games, and when he has played since he hasn't been back at his early season level - unsure if he's suffering from lack of fitness or Harry's route 1 tactic, or more probably a bit of both?

He looked unbelievably unfit the last time he played.

Even if he was fit with Barton & Henry in the middle and Charlie & OBZ upfront there's not much option for him as I think he's wasted wide. If Sandro was fit I'd rather we played a 4-4-2 diamond with him feeding the strikers and a couple of proper wingers but there's more chance of hell freezing over...

To be fair to Harry, playing 4-4-2 has suited Charlie. I'd like to see this now we have Zarate:

    -------------------------Green-----------------------
    Isla---------Caulker-----------Dunne--------Yun
    ---------------Barton--------Henry-----------------
    Vargas--------------Zarate-----------------Hoilett
    -------------------Austin-----------------------------

We have no one better to play there, in that formation imo.

Even though he's out of position, I'd leave Leroy Fer in there. Its not ideal but Hoilett has been worse than useless this season whenever he's played. I honestly don't know what's happened that boy since he left Blackburn.

Barton would be gone for me..Maybe Sandro, Fer or AN Other

Hoillet also gone but we need a replacement.

i like the teambut lacks a bit of physical presence. Not sure Austin want to be up front alone anymore. Doesn appear to be his game TBH Maybe Zarate pushing up further to pair up when needed (Yes the position that Adel should have been played in-lets not go there!).

This team should be able to keep us up surely ?

With two holding players, Charlie would/should get enough support from the three behind him.
I could live with Fer instead of Hoilett and a fit Sandro instead of Henry or Barton.

Depends if we pass it quickly and accurately forwards, with the midfield getting up in support, or just lump it forward and hope. I think Charlie's had enough of that.

When we play 4-4-2 its quite honestly like we're playing with ten men. The midfield two are like a one, they're so easily overrun. It was the same last year a division below. The defence is put under enormous strain in each game. Against the Swans they performed admirably, all five of them, in keeping them out.

    Barton + Henry = 1 player

Agreed. To play 4-2-3-1 effectively, the one up top and three behind him need to interchange positions, particularly the three behind. Remember that under Warnock? Worked a treat.
However. Charlie really isn't the right man for that system imo, which is why we're stuck with 4-4-2 .

nK not required because we lump it forward to bz or ca
    Barton then rushes madly
Henry has to cover every one

    Green Mom most games imo

Formation? invite any team onto us and we will score or deflect for you

Henry breaks up what he can

Barton closes his eyes and lumps it

Vargas and Hoilett run around widly just not quite getting there

    Traore watches on

Fer only plays 7 minutes out of 90

    Bz goes wrestling

    Austin misses the easy ones

Mutch has no idea where he is or what he is

Isla looks decent but then gets out of position just when we believe he is a player

Hill and Ned need to start a Sunday church team

Phillips and SWP needs to raise their games so they might get a chance in League One

If I was Niko I would get very unfit on purpose like Adel

Who wants this world of football?
    This is not QPR

Hughes now looks a lot better to some I bet

Oh and has anyone added up what Harold has spent or done yet?

Agree with much of that Paul, although Vargas is a better player than you give him credit for imo.

At the moment, a choice between Hill and Traore at left back is a no brainer............"we just like watching Clint Hill".
