Is it just me or has he become the forgetten man of this transfer window? A player of clear quality and pretty much has a "come get me" sign on his forehead. With this saga surrounding N'zogbia (we've moved back into pole position according to Sky) I'd much rather we got that one finished quickly or went after a different target. And Kranjcar is the one player above any other that I would realistically like to see coming in this Summer. Can play left, right, central or in behind the striker, exceptional with both feet, could definitely be the missing link, imagine him and Ben Arfa supporting Ba or another striker! We need to act fast or we'll miss out, would kill me to see the unwashed pilfer him from under our nose because we were too slow into business.
Redknapp has put a £12mill price tag on him, and no one is willing to pay that extortionate amount for him.
I didn't think he had that long on his contract, could have sworn there was a silly figure of £4m floating around last window. I'd have him, probably over N'Zogbia.
Spurs have spent a fortune over the last two seasons and they were obviously banking on getting CL money to bankroll it. Droopy has been told he has to sell to buy so he will want top dollar for Kranjcar, which will I fear prove to expensive for us at this time. If the Zog deal comes off it will also mean we don't really need him and will want to put the money towards a striker instead. Very good player though.
Thats very defensive, they need a player maker in there. Which could be Krancjar, at the very least he should get a place on the bench. I'd take hm for us if we didn't have too many midfielders already.
