Anyone think that Niko would be a good replacement for Taarabt? Is surplus at Spurs and Harry has to sell to buy this time. Wouldn't expect him to be that expensive and he has a bit of flair and can score.
What about Walcott who doesn't get many games at Arsenal.
The January Window could be very interesting this time.

Both players would be good and both were names that we were linked with during the last transfer window deadline day.

January should be interesting, but I think most will be loans as I doubt there will be many suitable players actually for sale.

Shows what I know ColdharbourR. I thought they only paid a few million for him from Bolton?. I assumed he would be a max of 2 mill. Also depends on his ankle injury 'cause whoever we get must be up and running straight away.

I think we could probably get him for less than £8mil and he's definitely a good shout for Taarabt replacement. Spurs have a wealth of midfielders and need to offload. They have Tom Huddleston, Dos Santos, Danny Rose, Andros Townsend, Steven Pienaar and Jake Livermore all not really getting a look in. Plus Jenas and Bentley out on loan.

I don't think Fulham would let him go. Was very good against Liverpool though. So good shout Dan.

Maybe another one to throw in the mix could be Pienaar. Possibly on loan for the rest of the season . Great prem experience , was excellent at Everton , just coming back from injury , can't see him getting near spurs first x1 and could give us that spark/goals from midfield.

I'm liking this thread as there are some good suggestions. It's just such a shame there seems to be a wealth of possible midfield targets in the prem and not enough strikers/defenders.

Dembele is a great shout, he has looked awesome this season. I fear Fulham would only let him go for silly money though.

Pienaar on loan would be good, worth a go.

I think the problem with good strikers is that every team is on the lookout, and though I have been a supporter of QPR since 1954 I am not sure we are that attractive a prospect for the very best. Once we get a new stadium (I know it is a few years away yet) then more players will want to come. We can only get them now by offering bigger contracts than our competitors, or get the guys who aren't performing too well right now but have the potential to improve.
The one plus point for us and teams like us is the fact that we can almost guarantee them first team football.
There are guys we want and guys we would like so lets hope the difference between the two is minimal. Roll on January.

Think spurs bought him from Pompey for approx £2,5 mill. Levy always look to make profits on his players and i reckon his price will be somewhere between £3,5 - 5 mill.
Has all the historical QPR attributes and i think he could be a smash hit.
Re Gibson, Championship player and a no go for me.

There are two players out there that i would like us to go for though.

#1 Matthew Jarvis. Very similar to Andy Sinton (my all time favourite), always seem to have the ability to get the cross into the box, either with his left or right foot.

#2 Jerome Thomas. Looks like he's peaking at the moment and a player that seem to have matured a lot. A player that both creates and scores goals. Has a past with us and might just want to return to London.
