Been linked to Man Utd today for ã13million. I think he is just trying to talk himself into a move to the premier league. In my opinion he would fit what we need perfectly. Tall,very strong and great at holding the ball up. He can also score both spectacular goals and seems to have the knack of being in to right place at the right time. If we could get him at the right price (ã8mil max), and we could as Rangers are still skint even after the takeover, he would be the perfect stirker for Ben Arfa and Nolan to play off!!
Good player, and I say that as a Celtic fan. Certainly not worth ã13m. I would say ã6m would be a good deal for both clubs. However, I don't think there's any truth in it. Sounds to me like it's his agent that's trying to engineer a move. I expect him to move to the EPL in the summer though as he made it very clear even before he signed on the dotted line for Rangers that he was using them as a stepping stone to a bigger league.
Yeah he has looked good every time I've seen him, again thats from a Celtic fan too! I'd definitely take him but he's worth 5-8m tops.
