The Rangers striker is the latest player that we've been linked with. Apparently both us and West Ham have put in bids of £6m. According to Wikipedia, he's 6'2'', 26 years old and has scored 28 goals in 43 games for the Gers since signing in 2010. With the usual proviso about prolific goalscorers in the Scottish Premier League not always setting the English league alight, that sounds a good ratio. His international record for Croatia (2 in 17) isn't so impressive. the above is pretty much all I know about him - does anyone have more insight? It looks like it will cost us more than £6m if we want him.
Definitely don't want this transfer to go through, if we are looking at the SPL then Hooper at Celtic should be our target.
