Remember when you were young (hahaha) You shone like the sun............. Going off here in a minute to listen. Your fault, VJ x
That is an impossible question to answer. How on earth can you pick just one? Shine on you crazy diamond and Comfortably numb are right up there as classics. Love Us & Them and DD mentioned a very old one See Emily Play. One of these days & Echoes from Meddle still get played as well. Bloody hell VJ could go on and on and bugger off and listen to them all and come back with more.
High Hopes is my song GT, like I said on the OP. The words summarise my life and situation but all in all its brilliance in itself. My personal favourite song is The Fletcher Memorial Home..
that is my favourite so many to choose from
Ashamed to admit it but Division Bell was the 1st pirate CD I bought. Like you say tho VJ, "High Hopes" another top notch song. PS, I never did by another copy CD. Maybe I'm just to honest...........or foolish.
Yup. Not as big as a Floyd fan but I have seen him twice whilst in Genesis. A long time ago when Nursery Cryme & Foxtrot era. Bloody good showman with his weird costumes. Watched him a few weeks ago on TV performing a fairly recent concert and was still very very good.
Easy. Comfortably Numb, but from the Pulse album. Breathe, A Great Gig in the Sky, Wish you were Here, Brain Damage, Hey You, Us and Them. All classics. Simply the greatest band that ever lived.
I saw him in October this year at the Manchester arena, joined his website and got a copy of the 'UP' tour from 2003. His up album was one of my favorites from 2001. PM me your email address and I'll send it to you plus the Manchester concert I went to. That is due for delivery via CD about the middle of December. I'm a big Peter Gabriel fan in every way, music, the man, the lot..
