Stringer has said that Nigel Pearson wants to talk to us and BBC radio Humberside have said Nigel has requested permission to talk to us. Looks pretty certain hes coming back because if Hull block the move he can quit and come anyway Im pretty happy with that please log in to view this image
He's told the owner that the salary, package and budget that leicester are offering is too good to pass by and he has to do what is best for him and his family. Congratulations you've got your man, though it seems he's not the man of integrity we all thought he was. Now give us a **** load of compo and stay away from our players.
You will get decent compo and the only player we want and will get back first thing is Waghorn I genuinely think Nigel never wanted to leave, he has never seemed happy at Hull
That's bollocks, I've spoken to him on many occasions and though he did get a bit pissed off with some of the moaning twats at our place, he was enjoying working with the squad he'd put together and was happy with the way things were progressing on the field. The reason you've got your man is £10m, not the fact he wanted out. You can have Waggy back, it's not him we're concerned about.
You can have him back too. It's only Basso, Chester, Dudgeon, Rosenior, Koren and Stewart that we're really bothered about.
I cant seem Hobbs or Fryatt coming back as we have replaced them with better players in Nugent and Mills Have you got any decent wingers we will take them
Dont want Basso, Schmeichel's better Mills and Bamba are solid so dont need a centre half Got Peltier dont need Rosenior Konchesky over Dudgeon Dont need midfielders Sven signed no end of them Stewarts a winger if i remember correctly so we wouldnt mind him
With Mills, Bamba, St. Ledger and Tunchev would we need Hobbs. Hobbs is better then St. Ledger granted and Tunchev is always injured but i would prefer Mills and Bamba to Hobbs
All we need is wingers and a system that works then we will fly up the table Sven assembled a quality squad but a poor team
Your too late Liam. This stinks of desperation http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/jump?http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11712/7296901/
OLM Nigel did a great job for us in getting us out of League 1 and also during our first season back in The Championship .... but I don't think I'm alone in saying that I have reservations about him making a succesful Premiership manager .. I could see him getting us out of this division - but for me he does not have the tactical nous of Martin O'Neil and I fear we would soon be found out .. so I'll be happy if he stays with you.
In many ways it will be bizarre if Nigel Pearson came back - aren't we now owned by the very people who decided that his style of football was not what was required hence bringing in the, albeit flawed, vision of a beautiful game under Sousa? ... it would seem almost astounding to now reverse that outlook, particularly based on any evidence from how Hull have played under Pearson ... now Brendan Rodgers at Swansea perhaps ... what might he be capable of with proper funding? I've written to Santa and asked him to make MON see sense and come home .... just imagine what Beckford and Nugent might be like with service from Guppy, Izzet, Eadie aynd the like (even Big Steve for that matter)....
BBC Radio Humberside's David Burns reporting that Hull City now "expect" Nigel Pearson to become the next #lcfc manager.
All we know for sure about Nigel's exit is he didnt get on with Mandaric and Hoos and felt pushed out and was surprised they accepted Hull's approach All the stuff about the new owners playing a role is just speculation and if Nigel is going to come back i dont think the owners did get rid of him
Very noble sentiments Proud - however could just as easily be the case that Nigel is being seduced by the money .. wouldn't be the first to sacrifice principles for the lure of the wonga.
My worry is the owners have looked at everyone, didnt fancy them and then seen what Pearson did first time round and just think he will carry on from where he left off
