    I'm sure his wage demands would be far more than we could stomach but how about a cheeky bid for Nigel Reo-Coker?

    He left Bolton on a free and obviously thought that a host of Premiership clubs would come in for him. Now that's not happened he'll no doubt not want to be unemployed until the January transfer window so might just be open to an offer.

    He would give us some class in midfield (where we are thin anyway) and is the right side of 30.

    A good option. Short contract to January for him to see where we are & us to see what he can offer.

    You answered your own question with the first 10 or so words. Good player, but too greedy even for a rich Championship side to bother with. Forget him.
