Great news and great to see the owners backing him. Foreign owners get alot of bad press for chopping and changing so its great to see Top and Vichai back there man http://www.thisisleicestershire.co....tory-19015617-detail/story.html#axzz2TRYqvKY5
Not trying to be funny Proud but this was out at 2pm today ... I thought there was going to be some 5pm club statement? - or was TC just wumming?
The only new things on the Official Club site today are news of an award for the Match-day Mag and of the opportunity to buy Training Wear and Kit for 75% off ... (which probably means the buggers are bringing out new, and probably more costly, ones for next season) ...
If its true its good news for you lads, never really bothered me when he left so i haven't got any ill feeling towards Pearson and i still think hes the best man for Leicester, id rather have him than Poyet or even O'Neill to be honest.
You'll have to look out for me there AKCJ - don't do tweeting so take it all on trust re Stringer etc LOL
Tanner is pretty reliable. Although it's not been official announced (is it usually? It's only the fans and media that have made anything of it), I would imagine he's got this from a trustworthy internal source. I'm not really surprised - if he was going to be sacked I think it would have happened within 48 hours of our season finishing. My reaction is the same as Proud's.
Is this the same tanner that said mon was joining us. I would personally ask stringer, but hey ho him and Pearson seem to be at loggerheads again. I would imagine any club owner wanting stability would of come out and backed the manager. They seem too quiet for me. What better than to keep stum and talk to alternative managers before laying cards on the table.
Rob Tanner is usually bang on. He doesnt say much but when he does he is right 99% of the time The headline and how he empathises "WILL" means he is pretty sure
Great news @John__Percy: Nigel Pearson met with Leicester's board yesterday and was assured he will be staying in charge #lcfc
I'm happy. He's got a young squad that are only going to get better, and he was pretty close. I think he was probably a few clever moves in the January window away from promotion, unfortunately this coincided with our good run and it seemed like he'd already got the job done. I believe he can do it next year, come on Leicester!
