    All of the media are now saying that Nigel Pearson will be appointed on monday, it has taken its time but the clubs now finally seem close to agreeing compensation.

    I'll believe it when I see him holding that scarf. Although it sounds like good news, i'm hardly convinced with anything from the mirror.

    Think you do ... but might be a bit presumptuous to use something resembling NP - the silence is deafening - thought it was a cert he was being announced today - in fact was the new manager not going to be announced before the Leeds game?

    Thats if the press conference is today, they might just release a statement and have the press conference later in the week
