It's my understanding that #LCFC boss Nigel Pearson has agreed the terms of his new contract. More from 6pm 104.9fm #Donedeal

May see some player movement now.

Agree its been a while since we've had to do a contract renewal for a manager, but its rare in football these days, the only one that seems to be immune to the sack is Wenger.

Is Pearson the 2nd longest serving club manager in the prem this season?

EDIT: ah just looked it up, 4th behind Wenger, Pardew and Big Sam

 

And considering Pardew and Allardyce are both under extreme fan pressure to quit, that tells you everything!

 

Newcastle want to sack Pardew but can't because they stupidly gave him a 7 year contract and can't afford the compensation to sack him
