Nigel Pearson on his Hull experience
I've not been back there for a while. I don't know how I'm remembered there but it was a time for us as a staff, it was a very important experience for me - going in at a difficult time, transfer embargo, trying to build something which was not very easy but I enjoyed my time there.

I worked with somebody who was effectively a director of football for the first time, in Adam Pearson, and he was excellent so really good experience for me.

    NP on Hull's good form
They're a team who have found a way of winning - four wins and a draw, off the back of a very tough run so they've found some form. I would expect a team with some self-confidence at the moment.

For us, we have to find a way to get back-to-back wins, start to win away from home again. We've got to find those qualities from somewhere.

Of late, our form at home in terms of results have been pretty good, performances have been okay. What we've got to do now is back that up with some solid away performances in which we pick points up and we've got to start getting bback-to-back wins and that's how you make progress in this league.

NP on winning home and away
Successful sides are able to pick up results everywhere. We've been inconsistent. Our performance have been okay, certainly towards the start of the season where we had some really decent performances but the results didn't bear that out. They didn't coincide.

I tend not to try and overthink stuff like that. I know we have to be more efficient as a team, it's quite straightforward. I'm realistic as to where we are and what we have at our disposal and the blend of the squad, we've talked about on many occasions.

One of the benefits of having young players is that you have players who don't have any baggage or fear but there is going to be an element of inconsistency.

    NP on Andy King
Andy King should be in and around it in the next few weeks.

    NP on Nathan Baker
He'll be having more tests. There's nothing of note really to add. We need to make sure he does all the return to play protocols so it's likely he's going to be out for a while. So nothing further to add. He'll be having a couple of consultations next week so maybe we'll have some further news after that.

In terms of timeframe, at the moment, I can't give you one and I'm not prepared to, either, because I don't think it's appropriate at the moment. First and foremost, we have to go through a process where all the tests that we can do on him, are done.

    NP on King again
Andy King is training all the time with us but there has to be a bit of common sense with that one. But he'll be available for the Christmas programme.

    NP on George Tanner
He's training fully and it's just now when to include him.

NP on playing well away from home
The same (as at home). Honestly, I don't look at games home or away - they're all games that are winnable. It's only how sometimes individuals perceive it as being different.

I don't see why we can't go and play with an aggressive nature home or away - they're just games.

When you're at home you have the benefit of your own fans backing you, which is great. Away from home, it depends on whether your enjoy getting the home fans booing you.

    NP on away performances
What I don't want is a passive display like we had at Sheffield United which came out of nowhere. It was very frustrating for everybody.

At the start of the season, we were just very free. We scored three away from home twice and two away from home, at least two or three times.

As we've found solutions to winning games at home, our inability to turn promising performances into results have become less and less.

When you consider the games that we've won on the road - Cardiff City, Reading, Peterborough - the only game that was a bit of a fly in the ointment was the Middlesbrough one, but really we should have gotten something out of that one too.

We've unfortunately, at certain times of the season, just let games pass us by. It'll be very easy to play the youth card but I'm not going to do that, because they're there and have been picked so they have a job to do.

    NP on Hull again
Hull are in a really good run themselves but they had a really poor run before that. They're a side that's come up, got promoted, so they've had a year of adjustment, lots of changes to the squad. It's a game that we need to go there with positive intent and it's quite simple in my mind.

More bodies will be useful, especially in midfield
