Nigel Pearson is on the football forum tonight, here are the key points said by Nigel

    • Tunchev still has a future at the club
    • Some of the results and performances under him havent been good enough
    • There is a squad imbalance of the squad which will be sorted in January
    • Any new players need to have the hunger to want to play for us
    • Players will be coming both in and out
    • Only the right player will come in
    • We will address the width problem
    • We need to be more ambitious in the final 3rd
    • He was very surprised when we made an official approach for him
    • The club off the field has moved on massively since he left
    • The owners have made it clear they are here for the long term
    • The clubs in good hands with the owners
    • Jermaine Beckford is a player who wants to do well for this club but he has found the change a little difficult
    • Bruno Berner doesnt have a future at the club and they are working with him to cancel his contract
    • Nigel Pearson isnt a twitter fan
    • As things stand Jeff Schlupp is part of our squad
    • Set peices need to improve but there isnt many people better then Paul Gallagher at taking them
    • Promotion is still on for this season

Not alot came from that which we all expect with Nigel as he keeps his cards close to his chest. Shame about Bruno, top man and a legend

[*]We need to be more ambitious in the final 3rd. best of luck with this, we played some of the worst football I've ever watched under Nigel Pearson.

    Three things.

    1) How does 'being ambitious in the final third' relate to playing good football? NP means we need to aim for the killer pass/shot/cross rather than try walk the ball into the net. Some may say it's quite the opposite of playing 'attractive football'.
    2) You didn't play the worst football you've ever seen under Pearson. When he was your gaffer you always harped on about how you played football on the deck so thats complete bollocks (and complete bollocks is something you seem to specialise in)
3)With McLean and Fryatt (two league-one strikers at best) upfront you're hardly likely to score loads.

Last season we played terrible football, though it's true that we did play good football under Pearson this season, it just got significantly more entertaining when Barmby took over. As for our League One strikers, you do realise that Fryatt has scored more goals in 2011 than any other striker in the Championship?

I'm surprised there hasn't been a massive number of car crashes in and around the Leicester area as drivers bobbed off at the wheel listening to ' laugh along a Nige'.

Boring **** that he is and all that.

Anything about Johnson? I just feel its such a shame that things have not worked out for him here. In 5 years time I hope he's not looking back at his time at Leicester as his nightmare season.

I agree with everything he said. So the good news is that Nigel is aware of the problems, but we just need to wait and see what he intends to do about it come January.

Nicks interviews have been fine. He actually answers and doesn't dodge simple questions.

Even you will admit that Nigel has the personality of a lobotomised slug.

Pearson has personality. He just likes to conceal it under a veil of no-nonsense bravado.

I have only seen that side of Nige from his Hull days.

Honestly he's been interviewing fine since he's been back and has been cracking jokes with Stringer like they've been going out of fashion.

Barmby sends me to sleep. He even looks boring <laugh>

Two words sum up Pearson and his boring and antiquated( might have to look that word up) outlook on football and life in general.

    FLAT TOP.

To be honest the substance of Barmbys interviews has been a class apart from Pearsons. You probably just don't like the accent.

Nigel was a real twat to interview in his last few months and it's refreshing to have a manager who doesn't get pissed off at bog standard questions.

To be fair, everyone who has spent considerable (Might have to look that word up <laugh>) time in Hull becomes boring and antiquated quickly <laugh>

You tell me, being serious, that this guy isn't ****ing boring <laugh>

Half my family are from Leeds, I am used to the accent and his is nothing compared to what my Grandad's was bless him. <ok>

I'm sure Barmby hasn't been asked about his 'future' at every possible chance. If I was Nigel i'd have got pissed off with the guy from your radio station. We were obviously keeping close tabs on his interviews prior to his departure of Dull and he must have been asked the same question 300 times.

All he answered with was 'I'd rather not talk about it' because he didn't want to piss you lot off and he wanted to keep his options open as he loves our club and he thoroughly enjoyed his time here previously.

**** off, I've seen loads of references on here to Pearson being obnoxious with Stringer.

To be honest, Nige's arsey interviews never really bothered me, but Barmby is in a different league.

The accent in Leeds is nothing like the accent in Hull, that's like saying I'm used to the Leicester accent, as my gran was from Birmingham.

3:00 minutes in, look at his reaction when Stringer asked him his first question <laugh>

Are you saying that Barmby's interviews are boring because you can't be serious in saying that the guy has a more interesting personality than a teaspoon (not to mention intelligence)
