I think NP is doing a good job! silly paper talk about Redknapp comming here.
God help us if did IMO he would put us in financial meltdown and the owners would quit
the club, and we would end up like Portsmouth! This would be the worse thing this club
could do, even worse than the Taylor and Pleat days.

Stringer = a mild irritant. He got that right.

Stringer wll still be a Leicester fan long after NP has gone & he´s only asking a Q which happens to be his job. If you´re a football manager you have to expect it. My opinion.

It seemed a personal attack on Stringer. Very unfair by Nigel

What ever he thinks Stringer is just doing his job

What ever you think of NP ,he is at present doing what he is paid to do.he may or he may not get us promoted, but if he does, then what happens . We all know he can't handle high profile players, and we won't go far with the quality we have. Should our owners decide to keep Pearson and we do get promoted, then I fear it would be his demise.

Sometimes the self importance of some of these people in football is breathtaking... ITS A SPORT GUYS ! fergie and his mardy boycott of the bbc was embarrassing.... a chidish whinge that went on for years... I wonder what some of these clubs would do if the media boycotted them and their sage like words in press conferences? no limelight... no coverage? the clubs would shat their pants..all involved on both sides need to grow up...without us the fans/customers there is no football..<ok>

Stringer is doing more than his job. He revels in gossip and discussing it on the radio gives it undeserved credibility, which is one thing, but to actually bring up crap like that in an interview with the manager is potentially disruptive. Taking about Pearson being under pressure five games in was also ridiculous. Stringer reminds me of a fair weather fan, when we win we're amazing and looking good for promotion, when we lose we're awful and he asks Pearson if he can understand why the fans are unhappy. I understand that Stringer is trying to act as a mouthpiece for the fans (in an attempt to get more listeners) but he seems to represent the idiotic minority that thinks we should sack the manager every time we lose.

I know Pearson can come across as a bit fierce at times, but I like that in a manager. It keeps everyone in line, from the press down to the players. Never did Ferguson any harm.

You're right in 'Typical NP Interview'. He likes to clearly segregate the media journo's and all them from normal people as he likes to refer to them as "you people" and "that's your job". <laugh>

But in all fairness, he has good professionalism when it comes to answering speculation and his best phrase was "I wouldn't waste your time... My job is to get the team prepared for an important game tomorrow... It's a bit of an irritant..." He knows how to keep everybody in the midst... ;)

Im sick to death of all this negativity (fuelled by the **** local rag of a news paper & the local BBC radio station ) spew out.... not to mention the same DANGERous claptrap afforded to this board by so called " FANS" of our club wanting our manager sacked for our C1 Cup exit !!
Reality check required here me thinks ! We are a medium sized club, yes with some fantastic history behind us just like Bolton, Wolves, West Ham etc !
However, I think we have to get rid of this feeling of grandeur, we had it with MON & we have it with NP ! FFS , has'nt history aka managerial merry-go- round not learn't you by now ?
GOD ! What is it with you lot..... reading some of the comments on here & the LM, you seem to me that you would moan about the fact that you ain't got nothing to moan about ! FFS get real & get behind NP & the good team he is assembling !

Blimey it's starting to sound like foxes talk on here with all this arguing amongst ourselves! As a forum though everyone is allowed their opinion and that should be respected regardless if you agree or not. Even Charlie our closet fan should be respected

If you happened to have the misfortune to see Stringer on the Alan Sugar's apprentice you will know what that Muppet is all about!

The fact is that everything is going right for us at the moment (a win tonight and i'll need to change my sig!) so stringer has very little to discuss after "another win" and "any injuries" and has to take this total bs and ask about it.

Personally i think its totally the wrong time to bring up this rumour after winning the last 3 games.

We've had SGE and his influence/connections, he didnt perform, dont think Harry would be any different.

If Pearson was sacked tomorrow and Harry came in, i would say our chances of promotion would decrease.

Honestly given the Choice of Harry R or Nigel P it's no contest...

Obviously NP actually cares about your club which is why he went back .

Harry R would only care about how much cash he can pocket .

It won't happen unless your owners are insane .

Why the F would they won't a worse manager anyway ?

Would not be surprised to see HR end up at southampton sooner or later.

Ian Stringer asks the questions we want answered - if they annoy NP fair enough but we still want them answered.

Im entitled to an opinion too so here goes:

I think they should go back to having pies on sale in the south stand instead of all the empty cabinets and get rid of the horrible £6 curry=== We are fans and pay dearly for our matchday experience but we get treated like cattle by the catering department.

    Rant Over.
Oh btw come on you blues
