A few weeks ago (when you went on that crazy win streak), most Leicester fans were saying that Sven and his men were great and dubbing Van Aarnholt 'The next Ashley Cole' and stuff like that but now he's **** and you don't want Weale, when before someone said he is god compared to Mannone and Ricardo. Recently, I just checked your forum for the first time in a while and your all calling for Pearson's back 4 and wanting Jack Hobbs back and when he first got loaned to us the majority said he's league 1 standard and out of his depth in the NPC. So one simple question, who does the Leicester community prefer, Pearson or Erikson?
Pearson very good manager Sven world class manager Sven will take us the another level to what Nigel could. Not a dig just that the backing Sven is getting compared to Nigel. Nigel gave us stability and finally put us in the right direction and for that we are grateful
Ford Fiesta's are very reliable and get the job done cheaply, efficiently and without any of the fuss.
No, tbf that was wither himself or Chelsea saying that, no Leicester fans were saying that I'm sure! Sounded like he played well today, but it's going to take a lot more for me to believe hes good enough for us. He's very poor defensively from the all the previous games I've seen. My faourite back 4 is still Naughton-Bamba-Vitor-Mee Vitor will go back in the summer and I still think Hobbs has a great future, so personally I'd want him back, can't see Sven thinking the same though. Pearson will always be preferred in my eyes until Sven gets us promoted, we'll see what happens next season
What about 'Andy King's Crown Jewels' on the 'Jack Hobbs still has a future' thread (on page 6 of the Leicester threads, i think) Post #27 (I think)
Van Aanholt came here with a big reputation of being the next Ashley Cole, something Chelsea fans and the media have given him. He has struggled throughout apart from yesterday. He played really well yesterday and got himself a goal. Bruno Berner is a fan favourite and Van Aanholt was getting in ahead of him playing poorly so thats why people dont like him. One day he will be a very good player but i dont think he will be a left back as he isnt good enough defensivley but he could make a good winger. I would prefer we got Greg Cunningham back and to signing Van Aanholt again
As to the poll, Sven is a brilliant guy to have at the club. Life isn't boring for Leicester fans. 5-1 vs Doncaster 4-2 vs Millwall 4-0 vs Burnley 4-1 vs Barnsley I personally would rather that than having the worst home record in the division.
Did I??!! I think your making it up mate, although Jack Hobbs has said that he wants to stay and fight for his place at Leicester. Although if we sign Ben Mee and Vitor it will be very tough for him because they are both top players. We havn't missed Hobbs its just that he is a bit of a fans favourite with him being player of the season last year and having done well in League One.
I can tell you that yesterday Patrick Van Aanholt had a pretty good game. He was on about Naughton's level and he tracked back and made a few important tackles. I think Sven has told him that enough is enough and he needs to remember where he plays and to defend. Its not the PVA show.
Nige is a great manager, he did brilliantly for us during an awful period. But since Sven took over its been amazing, loads of media attention and brilliant results. I went for Sven!
Its not even a contest, Sven wins every time. I have no doubt NP would have taken us up but Sven can take us a step further! If we go up this year or not I'm looking forward to the Summer, It hink we will see a very different team to what we have now Up the Foxes,
Are you an archaeologist? digging up very old quotes...put the metal detector away, there's a good boy..
I still stand by what i said Sven is a world class manager and Nigel is a very good manager. Sven just isnt suited to this league
We wouldn't have the players we have atm without the Sven circus, and as we all know, Sven has pulling power. Sven got us the players, and Nige will take them and roll with it. p.s. i don't see a win on Sunday, hes only got 4 days before the match to assess, and Palace had one hell of an October.
My opinion hasn't changed I would rather have Sven over Nigel because I think in the long run Sven could have took us further than Nigel can/will. Nigel will get my full support though!
