One player impressing is Jake Cassidy at Tranmere. He is on loan from Wolves though

    Harry Kane?

Not getting a look in at Naarwich, he might be injured though.

Does seem a bit odd that they'd run the story, Chris Wood would be a great signing though and here's hoping that it's just out of respect for Saturday's opponents. He'll definitely score though...

I've got a sneaky feeling for Vardy ... he badly needed a goal and got it with our last minute equaliser last Saturday against Barnsley - I've been predicting that he only needed to get one to go on a run ... so there goes my tenner

Betfred are only 6/1 on hattrick heaven for Chris Wood - but would mean you get 24/1 if he then scores 2 more which is a possibilty <ok>

Just saying, with the same stake you then get double with every other goal he scores after the 1st - and it is a possibility <ok>

    Come to think of it.

Last time someone scored twice was when we played Blackpool in March <ok>

This is a term used in journalism to signify that they are talking out of their arse.

i cant see us getting more than 1 striker, id rather us get 1 good striker rather than 2 more average ones.

I think criticism of Vardy is unfair and premature. The BBC have labelled him a flop in the article linking Wood with us saying he has "only netted 4 times".

4 goals is a decent return for a player who we bought from non-league and let's not forget how hard he has worked. First few games of the season he was working his socks off. There are plenty of other players to have scored fewer goals than him this season and some of his goals have been really important, least of all last Saturday. We wouldn't have beaten Blackpool without him either.

Stab in the dark, but I think it could have been our very own Jermaine Beckford in the FA Cup ????

All it means is Pearson has found 2 strikers he likes. He probably wants to sign 1 out of the 2
