... winner announced tomorrow ... ... he's up against Chrissy Powell Sean Dyche and .. ... Wally - the shepherd with the brolly http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/10789005._/
Give it Sean Dyche again, he didnt seem to get the memo about what its supposed to do for your form last month Lets hope that the press buildup of the Watford game doesn't effect their judgement. It would be nice if he did win it, but records show that its not always the best thing to happen. p.s. lol, Redknapp not nominated.
Not surprised really! Mind you, we did lose a game in October... How did Charlton get on? I haven't even noticed! Just looking through our results... Of the 18 league and cup games we have played this season, the score has been 2-1 on 9 occassions. Would have been 10 were it not for a last-minute Blackpool penalty. How odd...
I was going to say, it's a good job the Watford result was in November, but I think they will almost certainly give it to Pearson. Can he refuse? Do you think the reason he sits up in the stands now is because of superstition?
Nigel didn't get it, phew! http://www.football-league.co.uk/ch...he-named-manager-of-the-month_2293322_3528106
Look on the bright side - after yesterday's game at least Nige won't get picked for November! Every cloud and all that
Do you think he maybe didn't realise that it went to Dyche, hence why the curse struck? In all seriousness though, I don't think we should get hung-up on yesterday. We got lucky against Watford, maybe our luck ran out for yesterday. Most of us wouldn't have been too disappointed with a defeat at Watford but beating Forest; a win and a loss is still better than 2 draws, points-wise. I'm going to try and stay positive, doesn't happen much with Leicester!
Good post ... although apart from the Wood goal I don't think we were lucky against Watford ... it was a good away performance .. as was Forest's against us tbf ...
Agreed. I think this season hinges on our away form, which seems to be pretty good. There aren't going to be many teams with unbeaten home records this season, I think those days are gone, although I wouldn't fancy a trip to Loftus Road or Turf Moor, where, off the top of my head, the only unbeaten home teams remain (please correct me if wrong!). It seems to be getting a fair bit better this season- 4 wins already! Cardiff lost a few at home last season and still got promoted. The league does seem very unpredictable right now and I don't think the home teams are necessarily expected to win any more.
