Harry Redknapp resigned as manager of the Loftus Road club last week with Tim Sherwood emerging as favourite to take the job. Sherwood is still odds on to become the next manager after being contacted by the club last week but Adkins is second favourite with Bet Victor and Paddy Power offering odds as short as 3/1 for him to succeed Redknapp. Other names in the frame include Paul Clement, Kevin Bond, Les Ferdinand and current interim manager Chris Ramsey, who is at 10/1. QPR will take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light tomorrow after losing all 11 of their away matches so far this term.
